In November the garden season slowly comes to an end. In this and the next months of some big cares at gardeners will not be. However it is necessary to finish competently the previous season and to begin following.
The main works in November in kitchen garden are directed, first of all, to the correct storage of vegetables and also to subwinter crops and preparation for the winter period.
Storage of fresh vegetables – the most labor-consuming occupation in November. Vegetables continue to remain living plants and after they were transferred to cellar or the basement. They continue to carry out air exchange to them and to emit carbon dioxide. Therefore before the onset of cold weather of storage it is regularly necessary to air.
