Oddly enough sounds, but it is quite possible even in modern conditions; the building without the base, to be exact, with alternative basis will be able to serve long time if to fulfill the simple requirements during construction.

The base on soil and in ditch

Bearing capacity of dense soil makes 12-15 kg / sq. cm, and it means that the leveled site will keep the frame building without piles or continuous footing. On condition of availability of waterproofing the lower beams can be stacked directly on soil. For arrangement of basis dig ditch of 20-25 cm in depth and fill it with clay which is desirable for stamping, - the dense crust which will hold design as a result turns out. For arrangement of zavalinka on perimeter put the timber formwork rising over ditch by 25-30 cm. Before construction of the building lay waterproofing (for example, in the form of roofing material) and to fill up zavalinka with heater (it is possible to use haydite). The turned-out base will perceive building weight, ceramsite adding will protect from rebound and will "work" as heat insulator, and roofing material will play waterproofing role.

The structure of the base on ditch reminds the building basis built on clay. The difference is that instead of it mix of gravel and sand is used. At first dig ditch of 1 m in depth from which dig out drainage trenches in the parties. Their purpose – withdrawal of underground waters and preventing to buckling. Then the ditch is filled with crushed stone of average fraction, - the basis working not worse than concrete slab as a result turns out; at the same time flowability of material will allow to level the surface of "base". Drainage trenches fill up with the draining soil. At the final stage the surface is filled in with thin concrete layer to fill the top emptiness, and spread waterproofing.

The base on boulders and on tires

It is reasonable to carry out construction of similar basis in mountain regions where it is full of "ownerless" boulders. Fragments of rocks collect, size and put near the site. Further on perimeter dig trench and stack the largest boulders on bottom. The above lift "base", the more small stack stones. The turned-out laying is fastened with sand-clay or cement slurry. To make the base of tires, at first prepare ditch of 0.4 m in depth. Then on bottom fill up sand layer (thickness of sandy pillow of 20 cm) and from above gravel (10-15 cm). Also stack old tires on it, filling with them all ditch. Further fill with damp sand internal part of tires and space between them. Very quite good base for garage, the change house turns out: tires level loading and at the same time are the hydroinsulator.
