Behind all window plants thorough leaving is necessary. Each plant is in own way unique, beautifully and it makes the special sense. For example, it is considered that the crassula (monetary tree) is symbol of good luck, happiness and money. The owner of such tree by all means will attract joy, success and luck to the house. Care for monetary tree does not represent complexity, but it is very often possible to face such problem as leaf fall. It can occur for several reasons.
First, it is the wrong watering. The plant does not like when it is filled in, but also to leave the earth dry for long time it is impossible. In summertime the crassula needs to be watered every day or every other day, depending on drying of the earth. The main thing to watch that roots were not filled in, and water did not stand in pot. In the fall the tree is recommended to be watered once a week. In winter time is even more rare. In order that water freely flew down, put drainage on pot bottom. At abundant watering from tree fall down leaves absolutely green and not changed. And in case of rare watering the leaves can turn yellow, dry up and be twisted in tubule. Secondly, the tree does not love direct sunshine. If the plant stays the whole day under bright sun, then leaves will heat up, will lose the exterior and will fall down. That it did not occur, do not put the plant on solar window or during bright sun, close tree album leaf or the normal newspaper. Cold tap water can be one more cause of leaf fall. Do not water plant from under the crane. It is the best of all to pour water in bottles and to settle it several days. As preventive procedures water the falling-down tree with warm water from shower. Surely you watch that water got only on leaves, but not to pot. The excess of mineral salts in the soil or in fertilizing can be other cause. That to avoid it, it is enough to replace plant in new soil. It is very good to add pounded wood charcoal to the soil. Except all this the crassula can dump the leaves at strong climate changes. For example, if the plant stood on the sun all the time, and then it was transferred to the cool place. The long heat and drafts can lead to subsidence of leaves too. And the last, monetary tree begins to throw off leaves in case it gets to abnormal conditions or begins to get sick. Reproduction of crassulas happens through leaves. And therefore the plant, beginning to be ill, tries to throw off absolutely healthy leaves with the purpose to give young escapes.
