How to draw a cylinder in an isometry

Cylinder — the solid limited to two parallel planes crossing a cylindrical surface. Such form included many fields of activity of the person: in mechanical engineering a cylinder one of the main parts of the piston engine, in the culinary industry, tools of a cylindrical form are used, even in fashion hats — cylinders were relevant.

Instruction

1. Accurately carry out a vertical axis on a drawing leaf. Carry out drawings by means of office tools — rulers, a pencil, compasses, an eraser.

2. Perpendicular to the built line draw two horizontal line, at the distance corresponding cylinder heights so that these lines were halved by vertical.

3. Note on horizontal lines of a point at the distance equal to cylinder width. Their coordinates on the top and lower line have to coincide, otherwise construct an equal cylinder it will not turn out.

4. Note on the vertical line four more points, from above and I will lower from horizontal, the piece between these points on length has to correspond to width of disclosure of the bases of a cylinder. In the points lying on horizontal axes draw "brackets". Connect the ends of these brackets to points on the vertical line. The received circles are the cylinder bases.

5. Lower perpendiculars from extreme points of the top horizontal line to extreme points of lower. The figure which turned out on the drawing is a cylinder necessary to us. For the finished type of the drawing erase all auxiliary lines a rubber eraser. The bases have to be symmetric on the relation to each other. Do not use at construction ball pens, markers, felt-tip pens as in case of miscalculations it is necessary to start work anew. Carry out all drawings a pencil that it was possible to make correction during construction. This way – the most simplified option of creation of a cylinder, also this figure are drawn from a parallelepiped.
