Commercially for receiving the distilled water use special devices – distillers. Usual water undergoes distillation process in them. In house conditions it is possible to receive distillate too. The way is simple, but is quite long and demands patience. However, everything depends on that volume which is necessary for you.
It is required to you
- - tap water;
- - two pans (big less);
- - capacity for water drain;
- - clean hose of 1.5-2 m;
- - funnel;
- - ware for the distilled water (for example, a bottle).
Instruction
1. Pour tap water in a big pan and leave for day. During this time do not move capacity, do not mix water, it has to be defended just well. Thus, from water light impurity will evaporate (for example, chlorine), and heavy will accumulate on a bottom.
2. Prepare capacity for water drain and put it lower than the level of a pan with the settled water.
3. Take a hose. Accurately lower one end on a pan bottom (without shaking up contents), and take another in a mouth and involve in yourself water (the principle of drink of cocktail through a tubule). Having hardly felt it at itself in language, quickly lower this end of a hose in the capacity which is which so that it got to you into a mouth. Capacity where it will be watered from a big pan, has to be on level below it. Drain about 1/3 the settled water. It is considered that in this lower layer when upholding water heavy harmful impurity concentrate.
4. Pour the remained water in a clean pan and put on fire. Cover. Bring to boiling.
5. Prepare net capacity for the distilled water, insert into it a funnel.
6. Lift a cover from a pan with the boiling water and it is accurate (do not burn the ferry!) incline it vertically over capacity with a funnel. Water drops from a cover (it is also distillate) will flow down through a funnel in capacity. Then again close a pan a cover and continue to boil water. You can take capacity for the distilled water not with a narrow neck, and, for example, a bowl or a plate, then the funnel at this stage will not be required to you.
7. Repeat actions of the previous step several times, yet do not receive so much the distilled water how many it is necessary for you.
8. It is possible to modernize process. For this purpose on a bottom of a pan of the bigger size in which water will boil place small (it is desirable heavy that did not emerge) a clean subject and put on it a pan of the smaller size without cover (it is possible a bowl). This saucepan should not prevent to close a cover a big pan. Thus, when water will begin to boil, the drops which are formed on inside of a cover of a big pan will flow down in the small ware which is inside.
