The American heart surgeons made the discovery capable to change understanding of treatment of a number of heart diseases. According to experts, blood vessels can be grown up from liposuction products.
At many diseases of heart, in particular, when it comes to shunting, healthy blood vessels are necessary. To receive them, the American researchers-cardiologists together with the head Mathias Nollert are sure, it is possible from the fat which is pumped out during the procedure for "rejuvenescence" of a body – liposuction.
From fatty tissue the scientists learned to grow mesenchymal stem cells which uniqueness consists in their ability to change in the necessary state. In particular, they can turn into muscular, cartilaginous and other types of cages. Nollert and his adherents managed to create smooth muscle cages of which blood vessels are formed on the basis of stem cells. It is considered that such artificially grown up vessels will be able similarly to work on standing, and will not clash with an organism. During experiments of a cell of fatty tissue placed on a thin membrane and gave it the size of a small blood vessel. Then the growing vessel was subjected to various influences forcing to contract and extend. Quite so blood vessels in operating time of heart function.
Interest in cultivation of artificial vessels is not accidental. They are necessary in various operations, especially when it comes to heart surgeries. If theoretical scientific experiments are proved also during the practical experiments, it will be possible to speak about serious shift of medicine in development. So far scientists conduct primary researches and preparatory work. But in the nearest future - it is supposed that it will take no more than half a year - members of cardiological association of the USA will start also more serious of work. In particular, they plan to start test of the grown their fat cells of blood vessels for change by an animal. If everything passes without consequences, many warm problems will be solved. And the patients who decided to get rid of excess weight in passing will be able to become donors of material for blood vessels.
