As the planet Uranium looks

As the planet Uranium looks

The gas giant Uranium seems blue because of the methane which is present at its atmosphere. The methane haze in upper the atmosphere well absorbs red beams. Uranium is called the coldest planet in the Solar system.

Instruction

1. Uranium receives from the Sun 370 times smaller than heat, than Earth, it occupies the seventh orbit from a heavenly body. Therefore illumination here reminds in the afternoon terrestrial twilight. As well as other gas planets, Uranium has strips of clouds which very quickly move. The complex system of clouds includes the top layer consisting of methane and lower where water prevails.

2. The axis of rotation of Uranium is inclined on a corner 98 °, the planet rotates practically lying on one side. Therefore it is alternately turned to the Sun the South Pole, equatorial, Arctic, and sometimes — middle latitudes. The equatorial areas receive less solar energy, than polar.

3. It is considered that Uranium has the lowest temperature among planets, its value fluctuates from -208 °C to -212 °. Because of it the planet is often called ice giant, its subsoil makes ice blocks and rocks. Once temperature on the surface of Uranium of -224 °C was recorded.

4. Uranium makes one revolution around the Sun approximately for 84 years, 42 of them one pole of the planet heats up while another remains in the shadow. Perhaps, it is one of the reasons of such low temperatures on the planet. The second reason is that, unlike steel giants of Jupiter and Saturn, as a part of Uranium there are a lot of high-temperature ice modifications.

5. As well as all gas planets, Uranium has no firm surface. Its visible surface - the powerful atmosphere which thickness is not less than 8000 km. It consists for 83% of hydrogen, for 15% of helium, also at it there are 2% of methane.

6. Uranium has nine narrow, dark and dense rings. Each of them moves as a unit. They consist of the fine dust and stone particles which are not exceeding by the size of several meters.

7. The satellite system of the planet lies in its equatorial plane almost perpendicularly to the orbit plane, 27 satellites of Uranium are known at present. Any of them has no atmosphere, and their orbits quickly evolve.

8. Satellites of Uranium Titania and Oberon are similar at each other, their radiuses are approximately twice less than the radius of the Moon, and surfaces are covered with a grid of tectonic breaks and old meteoric craters. Under assumptions of scientists, in the closest several million years some of satellites will collide with each other, rassypitsya on a set of parts which will give rise to new rings of the planet.
