Domestication of plants and animals became the first stage of neolytic revolution which began in the Middle East about 10 thousand years ago. Emergence of agriculture globally affected a way of life of the person, allowed to pass from primitive economy of the Stone Age to the making economy.

2. There are several hypotheses of that, how exactly and why occurred transition from collecting wild plants to their cultivation, but any of them is not considered priority, scientists meet in one - agriculture appeared in several areas independently of each other at once.

3. The oldest theory belongs to Gordon Chayld who offered the term - neolytic revolution. Chayld assumed that people began to be engaged in agriculture in rare oases which remained on the earth frozen Ice Age. But this theory does not maintain criticism as according to researches the emergence of agriculture is connected already with the postlednikovy period.

4. Other theory connects emergence of agriculture with a certain new religious cult which urged people to be near the died ancestors, that is to replace nomadic life with settled.

5. It is considered that increase in number of people is connected with agriculture, but there is a theory according to which people had to be engaged in cultivation of plants because the population became too big and it became impossible to live hunting and collecting.

6. The fiesta hypothesis is interesting: scientists assume that ancient people liked to organize populous celebrations, and for them it was necessary to reserve a large number of products that is possible only at construction of special buildings for storage.

7. Emergence of agriculture led to emergence of the first civilizations, the cities, made people more independent of climatic conditions.
