How to calculate thermal power

1. The heating device - the device which one way or another provides transfer of thermal energy in surrounding space. There are its different types. They can be radiation, convective and the mixed type. Designs can also be subdivided into section, panel, tubular and lamellar.

2. Before choosing the heater, calculate the minimum necessary thermal power, for your specific case. What less warmed the house, especially the heating device has to be powerful. This indicator is measured in kcal/h.

3. For calculation use the following formula: Q = v× ∆ t×k. Its first element represents the room volume which needs to be warmed. The second is a difference between temperature out of the room and necessary temperature in it. The third – dispersion coefficient. It depends on type of a design and isolation of the room. 4. Further define this indicator for the most heating device. It is considered as the amount of heat given by this device in the set mode. It depends on the difference of average temperatures of the heat carrier and air, and is measured in kilowatts (kW). The formula of calculation has an appearance: Tnap = (Tvkh + Tvykh) / 2-Tkomn. Tvkh, Tvykh - temperature on an entrance and an exit of a radiator, Tkomn - air temperature in the room.
