Converters of tension allow to raise or lower constant tension. Such converters meet as a part of various devices including the monitor from which screen you read these lines. For use in the demonstration purposes you can construct the simplest duple converter of tension on K155LA3 chip.
Instruction
1. Take the lowering transformer from any small-sized network adapter (not pulse). You will use it in opposite quality - as raising. For this purpose take a tiny neon lamp (for example, INS-1 or NE-2 type) and connect it to a high-voltage winding of the transformer.
2. Take K155LA3 chip. Connect at it among themselves the following conclusions: - 1 and 2; - 3, 4 and 5; - 6, 9 and 10; - 8, 12 and 13.
3. Connect one of conclusions of a low-voltage winding of the transformer to a conclusion of the 11th chip, another - to a point of connection of its conclusions 8, 12 and 13.
4. Take the resistor of 1 kilohm. Connect one of its conclusions to a point of connection of conclusions of a chip with numbers 1 and 2, the second - to a point of connection of its conclusions 6, 9 and 10.
5. Take the electrolytic condenser with a capacity of 5 microfarads calculated on voltage not less than 10 V. Connect its minus facing to a point of connection of conclusions of a chip with numbers 1 and 2, plus - to a point of connection of its conclusions 3, 4 and 5. Domestic condensers near a plus conclusion have a sign of plus, at import near negative the strip from minuses is carried out.
6. Make the battery of three or four AA or AAA elements, having connected them it is consecutive. Connect a positive pole of the battery via the switch to the fourteenth conclusion of a chip, and negative - directly to its seventh conclusion.
7. Without concerning conclusions of a high-voltage winding and a neon lamp, include food. The neon lamp will be lit.
8. Constructive design of the converter depends on what it will be used to. If you want to use it as a part of the low-power pocket torch, use the compact plastic case with the built-in battery compartment. For a physical office it is possible to construct the deployed converter model. For this purpose arrange all its elements on the large leaf of a hardboard located vertically write the name near each of them. The model can be placed on a table by means of a support or on a wall by means of self-tapping screws. Irrespective of execution of the converter, the high-voltage winding of the transformer and a neon lamp have to be shockproofed.
