1. If inch designations are specified in the form of the mixed fraction with an integer, for a start transfer its value to an improper fraction. For this purpose multiply an integer of fraction by a denominator and add fraction numerator to the received result. Write down the received number instead of fraction numerator.
2. Now you transfer the received fraction to millimeters. Take numerator of fraction and increase it by number 25.4.
3. Divide result of multiplication into a fraction denominator. You received value in millimeters, equivalent to initial value of initial fraction in inches.
4. If it is necessary to receive value in centimeters, multiply the last result by 10.
