Instruction
1. Before translating days an hours, surely specify: what is meant the word "days". It can be both day, and "working days" or a light part of days.
2. If the word "days" is meant as day, then the set number of days needs to be increased by 24. That is: Kch = Cd * 24, where Kch – a number of hours, and Cd – the number of days (day). For example, 30 days (day) contain 30 * 24 – 720 hours.
3. If in hours it is necessary to translate the working days, then previously specify duration of the working day (in hours). For the simplest calculations it is possible to consider that the working day lasts 8 hours. However at payroll calculation the number of working hours in each working day is considered. At the same time it is fixed how many hours the employee worked in each working day then the whole hours develop. By the way, if the worker worked during week-end (festive) days, then actually fulfilled hours usually are multiplied by two. In a standard situation it is possible to use the following formula: Krch = Krd * 8 + Kvd * 16, where Krch – the number of working hours, Krd – the number of the working days, Kvd – the number of output (festive) days.
4. If the word is used "day" just as opposition to the word "night", then for the simplest calculations it is possible to accept duration of one day, to equal 12 hours. If the accuracy of calculations is not important, then use a formula: Kch = Cd * 12, where Kch – a number of hours, and Cd – the number of days.
5. If the concept is applied "day" in strictly astronomical sense i.e. as a part of days between rising and sunset, then use the special calendar where the moments of rising and sunset are specified, and it is desirable also day length. If duration of every day is specified, then just put them. If only the moments of rising and calling are known, then previously count duration of every day. For this purpose subtract time of its rising from sunset time. That is, in a general view the formula will look as follows: Kch = (Vz1 – Vv1) + (Vz2 – Vv2) + (Vz3 – Vv3) +... + (Vzp – GDP), where Kch – a number of hours; Vz1,2,3... p – time of calling the first, second, third... last day; Vv1,2,3... p – rising time in the first, second, third... last day.
