The theory of origin of the person from a monkey gradually became the main in the scientific environment. However there are also other views of a problem which are based both on religious doctrines, and on alternative scientific and pseudo-scientific hypotheses.
Creationism and origin of the person
Till the 19th century the version of his creation by god was the most popular theory of emergence of the person. Depending on religion, creation of the person had the specifics. In particular, Christians adhered to the point of view that the person was created for the sixth day of existence of the world just like God's.
In the 19-20th centuries in process of growth of scientific consciousness the theory of evolution began to force out religious views about creation of the person more and more. So-called scientific creationism within which a number of Christian figures sought to confirm bible postulates by means of scientific arguments became the answer to it.
In scientific creationism there are two main directions. Creationism received the greatest distribution among Protestants of the USA, however also some representatives of Catholic and orthodox churches adhere to similar views.
Despite support of scientific creationism by some certain researchers, the Protestants fundamentalists who are generally belonging to groups, in general the scientific community considers scientific creationism not the full theory of anthropogenesis, but the religious doctrine.
Alien influence
One more alternative theory of origin of the person is a version about intervention from the outside. According to representations of supporters of this theory, Earth is not the only inhabited planet in the Universe. There are several versions leaning on a postulate of alien intervention. On one of them, people are lineal descendants of the aliens who once visited Earth. From a different perspective, aliens not just accidentally occupied Earth, and made it intentionally and control mankind history.
Within the theory of alien influence there is a research of planets on existence similar with terrestrial microorganisms or their traces.
The most moderate part of supporters of the alien theory of origin of the person adheres to the version that influence from space became not the reason directly of anthropogenesis, and influenced emergence on Earth of the first living beings - bacteria. From the submitted versions only the last is considered by the academic science as a possible adequate hypothesis.
