When school students at lessons of Russian get acquainted with a word, it is important to teacher to report to them that it contains both lexical, and grammatical meaning. Pupils have to learn not interpret semantic word meaning, but also mark out their grammatical features.

The grammatical meaning of a word is a certain set of feature allowing a word to change the form. So, at a verb are signs of time, the person, number, etc., and at a participle - time, the present or a past, a sort, number and a case. If the main component of a lexical meaning is concluded, as a rule, in its root, then the easiest to determine grammatical meaning of a word by the termination (inflection). For example, on the termination of a noun simply grammatical features: Nominative case, neutral gender, singular, the second inducement. Besides, one may say, that the word is a common noun, inanimate.
