"Why the person became a person?" - the question which is quite difficult and not having still definite answer. Experts of such fields of knowledge as physiology, biology and genetics conduct the developments in studying this problem, the religion has the treatment, and some "experts" claim that the mankind to Earth was populated by aliens.
Throughout many centuries the mental human activity was a riddle. Various idealistic and religious ideas of divine human nature were based on it. Various scientific works devoted to a perspective of origin of the person were conducted. The known basic work devoted to a problem of origin of the person is work of the famous English naturalist Charles Darwin who claims that major factors of evolution are: natural selection, hereditary variability, fight for existence and isolation. On the basis of Darwin's theory the subsequent researches of scientists in this direction developed. The well-known work of Friedrich Engels, showed that the person towered over fauna thanks to work. Work was the directing factor of natural selection and gave "green light" to improvement of a brain and hand - bodies which were primary prerequisites of successful work. As Engels specified: "Work created the person". The works begun by I.M. Sechenov and developed by I.P. Pavlov, consisting in establishment of physiological and material bases of mental activity were the next stage of studying the matter. The science step by step opened indissoluble unity of the nature, defined links of the chain lasting from inorganic bodies to the systems of the highest manifestation of life, i.e. human consciousness. The main steps of ascension from the lowest to the higher organisms are: - the fact of identity of chemical elements in live and inanimate nature; - processes of formation of organic compounds; - ability to a metabolism; - emergence of living cells with complex structure; - evolution of vital processes from protozoa to the highest forms; - emergence of mentality of animals and development of consciousness of the person. Some of these links are studied not up to the end, in particular it is necessary to a serious research a way of transformation of a proteinaceous lump to a cage. Scientific knowledge and of other links continue to go deep. The progress in science guarantees its further progress in comprehension of all world riddles, and in particular, riddles of origin of the person.
