The egoism is such position and behavior of the person when it is completely focused on own "I", on obtaining benefit, success, pleasure. For any egoist the highest benefit is the satisfaction of own interests.

1. Consider, the fact that the egoism is a certain level of development of the person. Vital lessons and time will be required to change. The egoist keeps thinking of momentary requirements, he has no will power and internal spirit for self-development and own self-restrictions.
2. Try to re-educate the egoist egoism. That is, try to inspire in it that care of others is capable to bring pleasure and joy, feeling of self-satisfaction too. Let at least will try to begin.
3. Be an example of altruistic behavior, tell the egoist of history more often, capable to cause in it reciprocal emotions, show at the same time own philanthrophy.
4. Present to the egoist any pet demanding permanent care. It can be the cat or a dog, a hamster or a parrot, etc. The main thing that the person knew that all responsibility for life of this being lies on his shoulders.
5. Be not afraid to load the egoist with various duties, you do not seek to protect him from all problems. If it is your husband – charge to it to sit or walk with the child, force to help you about the house, etc.
6. Create the situations demanding self-sacrifice. For example, you can insistently ask the selfish person to help to inform the neighbour's old woman of a bag doors or to go down on steps, etc.
7. You praise other people at its presence, but do it carefully, it is very unpleasant to egoists to listen to praises in someone's address. Nevertheless, accustom him to a thought that around there live many interesting and worthy people besides it.
8. Do not hope for fast results, egoism – the outlook developed for years, going roots from the childhood therefore in fight against it are necessary patience, the sequence and persistence in achievement of a goal.
