Among habits which harm our organism first place is won by smoking. The leader position of this habit is caused by the fact that it has the broadest scope of application. In comparison with drug addiction, toxicomania and alcohol the influence of smoking on an organism is shown not so quickly that gives dependent on smoking a sense of security of a habit. However such carelessness can cost much because tobacco slowly, but surely poisons an organism and strikes bodies and the systems of bodies.

Influence of smoking on nervous system

Cigarettes have a property to which very few people attach significance as it is connected with mentality of the person. The use of cigarettes leads to such negative changes in nervous system:

  • the person becomes irritable, nervous, quick-tempered, at him the mood often changes;
  • brain activity which smokers try to strengthen smoking of the next cigarette worsens;
  • memory worsens, the working capacity decreases;
  • diseases of peripheral nervous system (neuritis, sciaticas, polyneuritis) and central develop (a sclerosis of vessels of a brain).

However smokers seldom connect the called symptoms with the smoked cigarettes that leads further to aggravation of problems with nervous system.

Influence of smoking on heart

The most serious consequence of smoking is deterioration in activity of a cardiovascular system. At smokers such pathological changes of warm activity are observed:

  • arterial blood pressure because of frequent spasms of a vessel increases that increases load of heart;
  • the amount of hormones in blood increases that leads to strengthening of activity of work of heart;
  • as when smoking the narrowing expansion of vessels is often observed, over time at the person the arrhythmia develops;
  • supply of an organism with oxygen worsens.

Such changes lead to development of the serious cardiovascular diseases which are quite often leading to a lethal outcome.

Influence of smoking on a liver

Smoking leads to the fact that the liver gradually loses ability to neutralize the toxins getting to an organism. Besides in the increased quantity the enzymes enhancing toxicity of medicines begin to be produced. At smokers with an experience the increase and consolidation of a liver, violation of its functions comes to light.

Influence of smoking on lungs

Nicotine excites the respiratory centers in small doses, and in big – oppresses. Over time the organism adapts to smoking and ceases to react changes in breath. But in attempt to refuse cigarettes, the person feels a lack of oxygen for the reason that nicotine became a part of a metabolism.

Almost all smokers have problems from a respiratory system: frequent inflammations, asthmas, bronchitis, fibrosis.
