1. It is the new cat breed derivative of breed of Ragdoll called by such name because not purebred animals were the ancestors of breed. She turned into absolutely separate line as a result of the broken-away group from the initial program of cultivation of Ragdolls in America and received the name ragamaffin. The description of breed should be begun with the fact that these animals in classic style represent cats, average and large by the size. Men's individuals are much larger, than females. The weight of males averages from eight to thirteen kilograms, and females – from seven to ten. They have large frame with a trend of fat deposits in the lower part of a stomach. 2. Ragamaffin is the cat belonging to semi-long-haired with a rich palette of colors and drawings: monophonic and striped, tortoise or colors of a mink. In 1994 the group of the American manufacturers acting through Janet Klarmann, Curt Gehm and Kim Clark decided to leave Ann's association and to create the line of cultivation which was beyond strict standards of Ann by crossing of all types received before. In 2003 the association was registered, and in 2011 the breed gained recognition in the championship. As the name ""ragdoll"" was already zapantetovano, their new breed began to be called ragamaffin.
