Sea turtles – very sensitive creations which are capable to become attached strongly to the owners. They need not only love of the owner, but also care and special attention. The wrong leaving can lead to diseases or even by the early death of a turtle.

1. Buy a spacious aquarium for the sea turtle and equip it properly. In an aquarium surely there has to be a land area which the turtle will be able to climb up without effort. If such site is not, the animal will just drown. Besides, in an aquarium always have to be clear water. It is possible to use special filters for its clarification, however it is regularly necessary to change water all the same.
2. Provide the correct lighting in an aquarium. You need UF the lamp promoting strengthening of a tortoise shell and also the glow lamp allowing to maintain the necessary temperature in an aquarium. Lamps it is necessary to have over the land area, besides the distance from them to a surface of a tortoise shell has to be not less than 20 cm and no more than 30 cm.
3. You watch that air near the island got warm up to 25-30 degrees of Page. At the same time in an aquarium there have to be also cool dark sites to which the turtle will be able to swim away. Lamps have to burn for 10-12 hours a day that corresponds to light day.
4. Never you contain in one aquarium of several turtles of the different sizes. Besides, if you noticed that one of turtles behaves aggressively and attacks others, she needs to be moved to other aquarium immediately.
5. You feed a turtle with both vegetable, and animal food. Monotonous food can lead to developing of diseases and to death of a turtle therefore try to diversify a diet of the animal as much as possible. Sea turtles can be fed with cottage cheese, boiled eggs, flour hearts, low-fat fish, meat, fresh greens, fruit and vegetables.
6. Regularly give to a turtle special vitamins and mineral fertilizing. The pounded egg shell, bone meal will approach, trivit, tetravit also any vitamin complexes for turtles.
