In an aquarium it is not necessary and to speak to you about the calming impact on the person of fishes. And who in the childhood did not dream to bring to himself the pet? Good option for this purpose - small fish guppy. Not demanding a special care, it happens various flowers, easily propagates and does not need in any extras for life in an aquarium. Many even part special types of the guppy, crossing different individuals.
Average life expectancy of the guppy in house aquariums – 2 years. But some individuals at very good leaving live also up to 5 years.
Conditions for dwellingThe guppy can live all life even in a 3-liter jar, but, it is worth noticing that at the same time its coloring will not be very different, rather a small fish will remain mostly gray and uninteresting. Quite another matter is if to place a small fish in an aquarium, of 5-10 l. Its coloring will become brighter after a while. At males of the guppy it is possible to see various shades on a tail fin and a little body (orange, blue, violet, red) if to adhere to a certain temperature condition, purity of the water necessary for rigidity.
Water temperature can fluctuate from +18 to +30oc, but the most acceptable for growth and development – from +24 to +26oc. For reproduction the females need temperature from above 26oc, and here for cultivation of individuals of the big sizes and increase in life expectancy lower indicators of the thermometer – 18-22oc are optimum.
Soil best of all will approach average granularity, dark color. Against the background of its gray and not expressive females look more motley, than actually, and males of bright and interesting colors will be poured even more. It is better to set a back wall of an aquarium with water plants that small fishes, especially young growth, could hide.
Rather new kind of the guppy - the guppy Endlera, or dwarfish guppies. It was found by the scientist John Endler in reservoirs of Venezuela. Adult males have the sizes no more than 2 cm.
Quiet neighbourhoodGuppies are peace and quiet small fishes therefore they can easily get on with other types. Only it is necessary to select types too not aggressive as they can attack beautiful, vualevy tails of the harmless, touching nobody guppies. Females sometimes eat the cubs therefore if guppies grow up specially, after reproduction of whitebaits it is worth catching and placing in the capacity where the most part of water will be from the old habitat. Time it is worth cleaning an aquarium in a week. For this purpose collect by a special tubule from a bottom waste of fishes, pollution on walls. It is necessary to clean carefully that in capacity there were 60-70% of old water. Prefer to eat the guppy a live forage, but also dry will approach. It is necessary to feed often, but in the small portions. Once a week it is preferable to do fasting day. Guppies are the interesting small fishes of various coloring who are not demanding difficult leaving and heavy expenses therefore even the child is able to afford such pleasure.
