  • - small gravel;
  • - cement;
  • - ready snag of a mangrove tree or mopana;
  • - thin fishing line;
  • - Javanese moss.

Instruction

1. Choose for creations scenery ready snags with long and thin parts that them it was possible to imitate branches of underwater trees.

2. Lay a film on a plain surface. Install a pot upside down and put on it a plastic bag. Establish a snag by a row. Record it in inclined situation that it became similar to the real tree. For this purpose it is possible to substitute under the top part some high support, for example, a glass jar. The lower end of a snag has to be near a pot.

3. Shake up a cylinder with polyurethane foam and a zapenta completely a pot and the lower part of a snag. The turned-out design has to resemble the rock with a cave and fancifully curved tree.

4. Do not remove a prop from under a snag until foam completely dries up. Otherwise the snag will fall under own weight and the design will collapse. On full hardening of foam can leave about a day.

5. When foam becomes absolutely firm, turn a design and remove a flowerpot and a package. Foam badly sticks to a film therefore you will have no trouble in doing it.

6. A sharp knife cut out an entrance and an exit from the removal of a pot of a grotto formed later. Try that the entrance and an exit were not opposite to each other. From the esthetic point of view it is not really beautiful.

7. Turn a design back and remove with a knife all excess flows or unsuccessfully stiffened pieces of foam. Try to obtain the maximum similarity to the real rock.

8. Make in the surface of the rock one - two deepenings for landing of water plants.

9. Dissolve cement with water in any suitable capacity. On consistence it has to remind sour cream. You apply with a brush cement mortar on the surface of "rock". The first layer will be thin, close all construction a film to keep humidity. So cement mortar will be absorbed in the surface of foam.

10. When the first layer dries, apply solution still twice with obligatory drying-out of each layer. Paint over foam completely. Do not forget about an internal surface of a grotto and a bottom side.

11. After final drying of cement paste over the rock with small gravel. For this purpose just apply with a thin layer aquarian silicone sealant, and from above fill a thin layer gravel. You do not apply gravel on all surface, leave some parts and slopes of the rock clean. It will give to scenery more naturalness.

12. Very thin fishing line fasten the Javanese moss in two – three places on a slope of the rock and for the ends of "branches". This aquarian plant does not need soil and very well expands. After a while your scenery will be covered with bright green threads of the Javanese moss.

13. Establish a design in an aquarium. If it turned out too easy and emerges, paste it to a clean dry bottom aquarian sealant. In the prepared deepenings fill soil and plant small plants, for example, dwarfish grades of an anubias, a kriptokorina or a lagenandra. Fill in water and let it stand.
