Budgerigars are very active, sociable and intellectual birdies. They require not only the correct care and the balanced food, but also constant communication and entertainments. Long stay of a parrot in a cage can end with scattering of a dung, turning of feeding troughs and even self-deplumation. Therefore it is very important to organize for it the playground out of a cage.

1. You can get the playground for a parrot in pet-shop or independently make of improvised materials. The self-made entertainment center for birdies can represent the most real game complex including a set of various holes, poles and toys. Though even the most usual branch with various branchings will become the great playground for a parrot.
2. To make the playground for a parrot independently, first of all think over what it will be what materials will be necessary for its production. Surely draw the sketch of the playground which is thought up by you on paper.
3. Now be engaged in preparation of all necessary details which will enter a design of a game complex. You can get wooden laths and bars in hardware store. Behind branches of the necessary length and thickness go to the forest or the park which is most closer to your house.
4. From the thickest branches of identical diameter collect a playground framework. For drilling of openings use a drill with pen-type drills of various diameter. 6. Now attach to the turned-out playground for a parrot the most various toys, safe mirrors and a swing, establish small ladders. Remember that the playground has to be steady and strong.
7. Refuse placement on the playground for a parrot of a feeding trough. The bird has to eat only in a cage. So it will be easier for you to drive the hungry pet into a cage.
