It is also very desirable to place a cretaceous stone in a cage to grind off teeth. It is possible to clean a cage approximately every two weeks. The hair of a hamster is cleaned sand. It is impossible to bathe a rodent at all! It can have an adverse effect on his health.
In a cage surely there has to be a wheel for run. It will help a hamster to keep good physical shape. Asian hamsters in general are very mobile therefore the cage is necessary to them rather spacious. At the same time it is not recommended to support more than one Asian hamster in one cage. These rodents are big owners concerning the territory. If to lodge them together, they will fight and attack at each other. Together the Dzungarian hamsters are lodged only temporarily – for reproduction. By the way, this look very well breeds. In a dung there are about 11 kids.
