Pets are not tired to prove to the person the devotion and love day by day, they save the owners and sometimes do it even sacrificing own life. Monogamous animal species which find to themselves couple which remain are known to all are right for the rest of life. Nevertheless, people all the same doubt whether animals are capable of such feeling as love.
Whether is at animals of feeling
The person, so it developed, throughout existence of a humanistic civilization considers himself by a masterpiece. Pain, love, hope, emotions and feelings as it is considered, are available only to the person. René Descartes considered at all that animals even to feel pain are incapable: he made experiments over unfortunate small animals, intentionally torturing them, and said that shouts and squeal gone mad from pain experimental are approximately the same, as noise at the broken mechanism.
Nevertheless, any person who communicates constantly with animals perfectly knows how strong and deep feelings they are capable to have. Perhaps, in the ancient time people understood it a little better, not for nothing exactly animals symbolize various human qualities of character.
Animals many times proved that they are capable to feel original love and devotion for the owner. Cases when cats and dogs died without owners of melancholy are known to all, just ceasing to eat. Seeing similar examples of manifestation of original feeling, it is possible to begin to doubt only in whether the person is capable to feel true love. Observations of groups of animals confirm that they likewise become attached to each other, as well as people. Especially well it is noticeable on the example of monkeys which behavior people usually with ease manage to interpret.
Scientists were shaken by a case in a Cameroonian zoo: one of a chimpanzee by the name of Dorothy died of heart attack. Then other monkeys embraced, consoling each other and showing sad experiences.
Even in life of those animals who show the feelings not the most clear to the person in the way the love and attachment plays not less important role. Experiments showed that at a meeting with friends the people relax, and their heartbeat slows down. The same happens also to other public animals, for example, especially obviously it can be observed at cows who feel better near friends in herd.
What is told in this respect by a neurobiology
To prove that the nature of feelings at animals does not differ from human, it is possible to cite as an example researches of "love hormones": oxytocin and dopamine. These hormones regulate feelings and social behavior at animals just as at the person. Under the influence of oxytocin the people become kinder and more attentive, but only to those whom they consider. Results of researches confirmed that at animals effect of this hormone absolutely similar.
To recognize that animals are capable to feel the same love, as well as people, interferes with the last only arrogance.
And here hormone dopamine is responsible for matrimonial love. In a brain of both partners under the influence of this hormone there are changes after which they react to "soulmate" in a special way, without being interested in more other individuals. The mechanism of effect of dopamine as a neurobiological basis of love, is identical both to animals, and to people.
