1. Of course, the size and type of future hem depends on scale of operational intervention and on professionalism of the surgeon, but you can make something for improvement of future its look even before removal of seams. 2. It is impossible to be engaged in removal of scar at once. You should wait several months until it partially resolves, becomes softer and more pale. Perhaps, you should address the surgeon once again (if scar very wide) for excision of the site of skin with hem and imposings of intracutaneous seam. 3. Small hems can disappear if you use special ointments with the resorptional and healing effect. These medicines restore blood circulation and accelerate processes of regeneration of fabrics. 4. For deeper penetration into skin of medical ointments and creams ultrasound – several sessions of fonoforez is used. Unfortunately, it is possible to remove in such a way not all hems, and it suits not each person.
5. More effective method of fight against hems is the phototherapy. Its essence consists in radiation of cicatricial fabric light of certain wavelength which is made by means of special lamp.
6. If the hem big and cannot be removed it with easy ways, address the surgeon who, proceeding from the size of hem, its nature and the location, properties of skin and other important factors, recommends you more radical way of disposal of scar.
7. One of widespread ways of therapeutic treatment of hems is the mesotherapy – injections of medical medicines in cicatricial fabric. It promotes active production of healthy collagen.
8. Other popular method of correction of hems – mechanical dermabraziya. In this case by means of the special device the upper layer of the skin is removed. Its healing happens within two-three weeks after such procedure, and complete recovery – in several months. The method suits not all and does not yield absolute result as the hem is not removed but only it is ground.
9. Many experts give preference to use of laser grinding of hems. The laser accurately and layer-by-layer old fabric of hem is removed, process of cell regeneration of skin is stimulated.
