Basma represents the eco-friendly vegetable paint intended for hair. It is received from the dried-up leaves of indigo beautiful tropical plant (or indigofer) by which possess in greenish-gray color. Basma is always applied only together with coffee or henna as one basma can paint hair in green-blue color. At the same time the basma has good cosmetology properties: adds them natural gloss, stimulates growth of hair, strengthens roots.
Instruction
- Prepare basma directly only before drawing on hair. Depending on length of your hair take from 20 to 100 g of powder of basma and henna. For example, if you have hair length to shoulders, then take 2 packs of basma and 1 packing of henna.
- The ratio is defined between basmy and henna depending on desirable color and intensity of shade. For example, if you dissolve powders in equal proportions, then the beautiful chestnut shade will turn out. But if you wish to receive hair black as night, then the proportion has to be not less, than 1:2 (henna: basma).
- Part the mixed basma with henna with boiled water to consistence of sour cream. Then very well stir paint that there were no lumps and mixture became homogenous.
- Slightly moisten hair and comb them. After that begin to paint locks of hair from nape. Occipital part of the head has the lowest temperature for this reason there hair are painted a little longer.
- Then apply basma on parietal and temporal locks of hair, and then - on all remained length.
- For strengthening of effect put on the head polyethylene hat for shower (if it is absent, then you can take usual plastic bag) and wrap it terry towel.
- You hold paint from 1 to 3 hours (for obtaining black and saturated color). Sites where there is the greatest congestion of gray hair, paint once again.
- To receive saturated dark color, listen to ancient east recipe: mix in porcelain or plastic ware henna and basma in equal proportions, add 4 spoons of ground natural coffee to the received mix and fill in with hot white wine. After that for receiving homogeneous mass warm up gruel on steam bath. Now you apply paint on hair.
- If you want to receive beautiful fashionable shade black tulip, then in proportion 2:1 add 3 or 4 teaspoons of beet fresh juice to mix of henna and basma.
