- Whether surely it is necessary to delete the skin of birthmark which are available on surface only the oncologist can define. Indications to removal can be cosmetic or medical, the way of removal also depends on it.
- At cosmetic indications it is possible to remove birthmark by means of liquid nitrogen, electric current, the laser, or operational way. If education large and deep, is used only surgical method, however after that there will be noticeable hem. According to requirements of oncologists, the site of the taken skin makes about 5 cm in the diameter. In case the birthmark is located on face, use of this method is extremely difficult.
- Removal by means of current of high frequency leaves small hems, causing thermal damages around birthmark. But this method gives the chance to make histologic research that is impossible during removal by liquid nitrogen and the laser.
- If skin education does not act over the surface of skin, and has only appearance of dark stain, it is better to use cryolysis method, that is not to remove fabric but only to freeze. After that there will be crust on the surface of skin. Gradually under crust healthy fabric is formed. In addition it is not necessary to process wound. But at the same time it is impossible to control completely effect of nitrogen therefore it is quite probable that it is necessary to delete skin education not once.
- In the presence of medical indications, it is necessary to remove all center in exclusively surgical way. Histologic inspection in this case is obligatory.
- After removal of birthmark it is necessary to look after skin correctly, otherwise pigmental spots can appear. The formed crust cannot be removed as it will disappear after a while independently. The first few days it is impossible to wet the processed site, it is also undesirable to apply cream or decorative cosmetics. After the crust disappears, there will be pink gentle skin which needs to be protected from hit of direct sunshine so far it will not become the same color, as well as skin around the processed site.
