Gel polish - resistant manicure covering which keeps on nails up to four weeks. It is easy to put it and just to remove. Using acetone for removal, it is worth remembering how aggressive can be its impact on skin.
Resistant manicure with use of gel polish is removed by means of special liquid. Its cost depends on what brand gel polish is applied. Unfortunately, there is not always opportunity to buy special solution. To rent gel polish independently houses, it is possible to use also acetone.
Technology of removal
Not to spoil natural nails, it is necessary to be prepared for the procedure carefully. Except acetone will be required: - food foil; - orange sticks; - cotton wool or cotton pads; - fat cream; - grinding nail buffer; - strengthener for nails; - oil for cuticle.
Acetone is rather aggressive substance. To remove gel polish, pure acetone can be dissolved with water (on two parts of acetone – one part of water). It is possible to use also liquid for removal of varnish with acetone. It needs previously to be warmed on water bath. Remove cuticle orange stick. Apply fat cream to skin around nails. Moisten cotton pads in acetone or liquid for removal of varnish with acetone, place them on nail plates. Try not to touch skin. Cover fingers with foil that reaction has taken place quicker. After ten minutes remove foil and cotton pad from finger which was wrapped up with the first. If gel polish became soft, then erase it accurately cotton wool or clean off orange stick. If material does not give in, it does not need to be pulled and picked up. Such sharp movements it is possible to break upper epithelium of nail plate. If gel polish has badly softened, again wrap up it with cotton pad with acetone and foil. After material is removed from all nails, carefully grind nail plates. Apply strengthener for natural nails, rub oil in cuticle. It is recommended to refrain several days from color manicure or drawing artificial covering.
Mistakes and their consequences
If not to apply fat cream to skin around nails if risk to get burn even from the diluted acetone. It is recommended to cut out small triangles which completely cover nail plate from cotton pads, but do not touch at the same time skin. It is not recommended to delete cuticle before gel polish removal as acetone can get to matrix (nail root) that will negatively affect growth and condition of all nail plate. It is better to remove cuticle, and then carefully to process oil for restoration and improvement.
