Darsonvalization – the method of physiotherapeutic treatment based on application of alternating current of high frequency and small force. By means of glass vacuum electrode the high voltage is brought to skin, it ionizes air and current passes through fabrics.
The effect of the procedure is caused by irritant action of the category on skin and mucous membranes. Skin does not heat up as current of small force is used. Change of ionic structure and impact on muscles does not happen thanks to application of alternating current.

There are no specific contraindications for application, but the general contraindications to physical therapy work. These are any tumors, exhaustion, fever, system diseases, tuberculosis of lungs, the expressed atherosclerosis, aneurysm, the increased arterial blood pressure, epilepsy, chronic heart and renal failure. Such sharp states as myocardial infarction, stroke are also contraindications. Availability of metal splinters in influence zone, individual intolerance forbid physical therapy. Procedures repeat daily or every other day course from three to thirty times.
