Required date can be calculated and independently. For this purpose it is necessary to remember the first day of the last periods – this date undertakes the beginning of pregnancy, from it obstetric weeks are counted. The woman needs to take the calendar, to note on it this indicator and to count 210 days or 30 weeks. It will also be date of an exit in a prenatal holiday.

The maternity leave pays off at a time, including time of preparation for childbirth and postnatal restoration, according to the scheme of 70+70 days or 84+70 days (at polycarpous pregnancy). If childbirth happens sooner or later estimated date, the woman will lose nothing in a money equivalent – all put under the law payment she will receive after granting a holiday to it at once. If childbirth took place with complications, the doctor will write out the additional sick note for a period of up to 14 days, and the sick note will also be paid by the employer.

It is possible to specify pregnancy term by results of a medical research: analyses of HGCh, research ultrasonography and some other indicators allow to calculate age of a fruit most precisely.

If the woman wants to leave in a maternity leave later the term established by the law, it is necessary to know that the doctor has no right to give a disability leaf after settlement date – respect for correctness of execution of sheets of disability is strictly monitored by the Social Insurance Fund. If violation is found, the doctor and the woman in labor will be punished a penalty, and will refuse to the employer reimbursement of expenses. Therefore the accountant cannot take incorrectly made sick note for the basis for payment of money too. Another paid holiday can be used both before childbirth, and after them. In this case it will smoothly pass a holiday into the decree (and vice versa), and the woman will receive more time for preparation for childbirth, or will manage to be restored better after them. At the end of a maternity leave the woman has the right to a child care allowance up to 1.5 years. For this purpose it is necessary to provide to the employer a package of the documents provided by the legislation and to write the corresponding application.
