1. The fastest method of the termination of a lactation is the medicinal, or medical method (intake of such medicines as bromkamfor, mikrofollin, is norkonut, dufaston, utrozhestan, etc.). Use it only if you need really to stop development of milk sharply. Specify a dosage and medicine at the doctor as similar drugs in the majority have quite serious side effects. You remember also that they have long effect and can complicate a lactation after the birth of the following child.
2. Slightly restriction of reception of food and liquid as the lactation depends on amount of hormone of prolactin which is contained in an organism of the feeding woman reduces development of milk. Remember that the amount of the developed milk can decrease only at severe exhaustion, but in this case you risk to be hospitalized with severe dehydration.
3. Intake of infusion of a sage and mint is quite effective. It is possible to use for its preparation both herbs, and specially packaged tea bags. If for any reason you cannot accept infusion, replace it with products which part mint is.
4. To get rid of surplus of liquid, you will be helped also by diuretics (for example, broth of leaves of cowberry, a devyasil or basil). However it is worth consulting in advance with the attending physician as for their reception there is a number of contraindications, especially in the presence of diseases of kidneys.
