When adult life begins

The consciousness is shown in early youth. This age is characterized by borders from 15 to 18 years. During this period the formation of the identity of the person comes to the end.

The age of early youth is for the person a transitional stage from the childhood to maturity. It arises at a boundary of habitual school life and new novel ways. Such feelings as responsibility to themselves and close people, fear for a possibility of the choice and a mistake are characteristic of this period.

Aspect of self-determination

One of the most important aspects of consciousness is self-determination. It is subdivided into personal and professional. The first raises a question for the senior: "What to be?". This aspect defines character, abilities and personal qualities of the pupil as individual. The second raises a question for the person: "Whom to be?". The school student tries to define own interests, tries to feel what kind of activity most of all attracts him.

It is also possible to refer existence of the vital plan to aspect of self-determination. Indistinct sense of time, inability to see itself in the future, fear of changes - all this speaks about the low level of consciousness. To leaving school the pupil has to see accurately the abilities, be able to mobilize internal resources and to focus on one activity. It helps the person to enter adulthood, to begin to work or study in the specialty. If it is impossible to the individual, then he chooses negative examples of behavior: alcoholization, drugs, immoral or idle way of life.

Personal aspect

Three components belong to personal aspect of consciousness. First, this self-esteem. Extent of acceptance by the person of both persons can be both high, and low. At a successful deal of events the new society accepts the person as it itself(himself) gives. Otherwise can use the vulnerable personality both students, and fellow workers. Secondly, an important role in consciousness is played by a self-reflection. The person cannot realize the world around, without understanding the inner world. It is possible that in the period of early youth interest in itself and the uniqueness will be increased. Thirdly, self-control is of particular importance. The person, leaving in society, has to understand and accept standards of behavior. Control over emotions and own state in a critical situation speaks about that, the person is how conscious.

Moral aspect

The moral aspect of consciousness includes two categories. Moral stability – ability to be guided in behavior by own views and beliefs. Outlook formation – emergence of more or less clear picture of the world, systematization of own beliefs on any given questions.
