Children's dance helps to develop imagination of the child, his ability to improvisation. Musical and rhythmic education is an important part of process of formation of the harmonious personality, makes children open, sociable. To put dance for preschool children, it is necessary to consider age and psychological features of little actors.

1. The first step to setting of children's dance is training of children in rhythmics. Pick up the simple alternating movements in combination with the known lines of children's poems, for example K. Chukovsky, A. Bartho, S. Mikhalkov. Such musical rhythmics will allow the child to feel a strong share, to stop during a pause and to understand when the musical etude terminates.

2. When a set of dance moves is fulfilled, start selection of a subject of dance and music. Before the first rehearsal give classes in the form of a game on which ask little actors to tell about what they represent after listening of music. It is also possible to suggest children to dream up and think up the rhythmical movements showing live or lifeless objects (for example, a tree, a hare, chanterelle, etc.)

3. Setting of children's dance, unlike the adult, needs to be begun always with the beginning – the first musical episode. Children have to represent precisely how movements follow one after another.

4. Any dancing work needs to be built compositionally. Children's dance differs from the adult in the fact that should not contain the pronounced culmination with difficult movements. Therefore pay attention to an exit of actors and the final of dance. If children begin to make mistakes at the beginning of dance, then, most likely, will not be able "to gather" and execute number up to the end any more. The final is important because little actors are already tired by the end of dance and begin to be confused in movements. Therefore do not put too long dance – it cannot do to children of preschool age.

5. An important part of dancing number is selection of suits. Develop sketches taking into account a dance subject. Children like to change clothes. Use this their feature for working off of number. If you hold rehearsals in suits, children will dance with bigger hunting. They have to "see" the character. Do not do suits difficult and close. If during execution of number some detail falls off, the child will cease to dance that to lift it or to correct. Sometimes for expression of an image there is enough one article of clothing or accessory (for example, a ribbon, a hat with ears of a hare, a mushroom hat, etc.).
