Many parents think that it is worth teaching the child to put numbers before he goes to school. But it is necessary to make it clear, well, and, above all – that it was interesting to the child.
Instruction
1. For a start it is worth teaching child to figures within ten. For this purpose it is necessary to acquire the special book where these figures are presented in various forms which can interest your child (for example "ten" in the form of a snail). Thus, you will be able to interest the child and to cause in him a certain association of figure and an object that will help it to remember.
2. After that you need to take two identical subjects (for example, apple), and in playful way to explain to the child that "there was one apple, put one more, it turned out two". Again in playful way, move ahead thus until until the child is able to combine figure and quantity (for example, yet will not count seven apples lying before him).
3. After it it will be simple to teach the child to addition: we invent or take any fantastic problems from the book, it is desirable various, and we ask the child them to solve. Having exactly passed all stages of combination of the concepts "number/quantity", the child will be able independently to put numbers within those which he knows.
4. Attention should be paid to the following things: the child has to be interested in training therefore it is worth carrying out process in playful way and to apply "fantastic" tasks. And still it is worth training the kid not only in addition, but also subtraction (at the same time), then both processes will be simplified and more clear for it. It is not necessary to give to the child big loading at once, he has to acquire everything gradually.
5. Result is as follows: to teach the child to addition, it is necessary to understand that he is a child and to submit information in the form, necessary for it. You should not demand from the kid of great manifestation of mathematical abilities, let he will master though small knowledge. In the future he will go to school, and there experienced teachers will be able already to train him. Well, for now it is worth simply "playing numbers" with the child, gradually training him.
