Usually it begins to be put on on 4–5 month of term when there is a noticeable stomach. But future mom has to be guided also by own feelings: if it is difficult to it to cope with the increased loadings, so time has come. However some experts do not recommend to begin carrying a bandage before the 20th week of pregnancy. In some cases it can be contraindicated at all. But there are also such situations when the bandage is appointed on strict medical indications.

2. If pregnancy polycarpous or the woman has such pathologies as increase in volume of amniotic waters (abundance of water) or a hem on a uterus, then it is necessary to begin carrying a bandage with the 16th week of pregnancy. It will help to prevent risk of complications during pregnancy. Obligatory indications for carrying a bandage from early pregnancy are also the big size of a fruit, threat of an abortion, low arrangement of a placenta or excessively increased uterus sizes. A contraindication for carrying a bandage is the wrong arrangement of a fruit in a uterus cavity. In such cases the orthopedic bandage to future mom is not appointed as it is capable to prevent the child to turn over in the correct situation.

3. Women with well developed muscles of an abdominal press at the first pregnancy can postpone use of a bandage approximately until the 28th week. Of course, this recommendation will be true only provided that future mom does not feel discomfort and does not suffer from back and waist pains. During the second or third pregnancy not to do without bandage anyway, so the belly wall at each following pregnancy stretches more and quicker. It is necessary to begin carrying an orthopedic corset in this case right after emergence of a stomach.

4. The bandage needs to be removed during day rest and for the night. During the day each 2–3 hours it is necessary to take a break, being exempted from a bandage for 30–40 minutes. Since 38th week of pregnancy it is recommended to be put on only before long walks or during homework performance. During this period the female body actively gets ready for the forthcoming childbirth, and the stomach begins to fall gradually therefore carrying a bandage should be limited to a minimum. However in certain cases, for example, at high risk of premature omission of a fruit, the bandage is used till last days by pregnancies.
