Cookies (cookies) are small text files which the website leaves on the hard drive of the computer of the visitors. These files contain data from which the website identifies users at the following visit. Some websites demand that cookies were surely allowed.
Instruction
1. To allow cookies in Internet Explorer, come into the menu "Service" and select the option "Internet Options". In the Confidentiality tab in the section "Parameters" click "In addition". Note a checkbox the Block Hands-off Processing … point. If you want any website to leave cookies on your hard drive, turn a radio button "The main cookies" to position "Accept".
2. If you have bases not to trust all sites which you visit, select the provision "Request". In this case you will grant permission for cookies for each website individually. There is a compromise option – to resolve session cookies. In this case the browser will delete the tags left by the website after you finished work with this node. For the choice of this mode note a checkbox the corresponding point in a window of additional parameters of confidentiality.
3. The website can sometimes display contents of other websites - the image, the text or a banner. In that case the third-party site will leave cookies on your computer too though you also did not visit directly this page. You can prohibit these actions, resolve or make request, having put the Third-party Cookies switch in the corresponding position.
4. To allow cookies in Mozilla Firefox, come into the Tools menu, select the option "Setup" and you select the Privacy tab. In the section Cookies note a checkbox the Accept Cookies point. If you want to secure yourself against potential harm, click "Exceptions" and in the Website Address window enter the address of a website, it is not authorized to them to leave cookies. Certainly, you can act in the return way: deselect the Accept Cookies checkbox, click "Exceptions" and enter the addresses of the websites to which you allow to leave tags on your computer.
5. In the Store Cookies window select the term during which cookies will be on your hard drive:
- "Before expiration" - the website which installed cookies itself determines the term of their action;
- "Before closing of Firefox" – cookies will be deleted after completion of a session in this browser;
- "Ask every time" – at completion of work the request for saving cookies will be displayed.
