How to block advertizing in Opera

There are several ways of blocking of advertizing in the Opera browser. Let's consider two of them: the first - blocking directly on the website, the second - use of base of the addresses of advertizing banners.

Instruction

1. In the beginning (in the first and second steps of this instruction) the way of blocking of advertizing upon will be described i.e. when you already are on any website where before eyes the importunate banner flickers. Right-click on free space of a page and in the appeared menu select item third from below – "Block Contents". The page will change a view: all elements which you will not be able to block will become inactive.

2. Click on those elements which you want to block (after click on them the inscription will appear "Is blocked"). To remove blocking, once again click a banner. Having finished, click "Is ready" which is on the right above. Or "Canceling" (is in the same place nearby) if you changed the mind. The page will take a former form, but already without the blocked banners. And now every time when you visit this website, the blocked elements will not be visible to you.

3. Now the second way. It will demand slightly more efforts, but they further as financiers speak, will pay off. For it it is optional to visit the specific website. Click a menu item "Tools"> "In addition"> "The blocked contents". If the main menu is hidden (and together with it there is no Tools point also), open it, having pressed Opera icon image button in the program upper left corner, and in the appeared menu – "Show the Menu". Or click Ctrl+F12 hot keys, then select the Expanded tab, the section "Contents" and click the Blocked Contents button.

4. Enter the most found addresses of advertizing banners in The Blocked Websites list: http://*.adriver.ru, http://*.adbn.ru, http://*.rusban.ru and so forth. You can study more complete list according to the reference which is in the end of this instruction. Having finished, click "Close", and then OK.
