Production, types and brands of corn oil

Raw materials for production of a product are not ripe grains of the queen of fields but only their germs which allocate from grains in the industrial way — wet or dry. Important! Monounsaturated acids (Omega-9) of which in corn oil it is more, than in sunflower are more resistant to heating, than polyunsaturated Omega-3 and Omega-6. They are oxidized less when heating, and, therefore, develop less than any muck. At usual frying (it takes place at a temperature about 165 °C) this circumstance can be neglected, but on higher (from 180 °C) temperatures the issue becomes fundamental.

For this reason it is better to add a fat part on the basis of corn to dough at pastries instead of sunflower.

Besides, the refined kind of goods is often used for preparation of sauces, soups, garnishes and other dishes when thermal treatment is supposed or presence of a foreign smell is not necessary. The deodorized refined view with letter D on packing best of all is suitable for preparation of dietary products or dishes for children. It is interesting that mayonnaise and margarine are usually cooked commercially just on the basis of corn oil.

For cold appetizers it is necessary to use not refined version, it is more useful and more fragrant, does not taste bitter as olive, but has pleasant tartness.

In cosmetology

Corn oil is exclusively useful for skin, and any type and any age group thanks to what the product found broad application both in the cosmetology industry, and in house recipes of beauty. The main merit in it belongs, certainly, to vitamin E.

It not only gives to skin a fresh look and youth, but also helps to get rid of various problems of dermatichesky character — eels, pigmentary spots, reddenings and inflammations. Aging processes are slowed down also by the pro-vitamin A which is present at a product, and linoleic and olein acids prevent age drying of skin, stimulate the exchange processes which are taking place in its deep layers.

For lips

The shelled and bursting lips are advised to oil corn every time before putting lipstick.
