1. If you want to rename one file, then it can be executed right click on this file. From a context menu select the Rename item. Instead of name file, before you there will be a line in which it is possible to make editing a name of your file. As soon as your file is renamed, click the ENTER key or left-click on free space of a work space. If you click Esc instead of Enter, then all changes made by you will not be saved.
2. There is also other way of renaming of a file name or the folder. Cause a line of editing a file name doubleclick by the name of the file. It should be noted that between two cliques there should pass a short period of time, otherwise, it will lead to simple opening of the file. Having clicked a function key of F2, you will also be able to edit file heading.
3. To make group renaming of files or folders, it is possible to use the same method that was described above, but before to execute selection of necessary elements. It can be done by means of the SHIFT key – for full selection and also by means of the Ctrl key – for selective selection. After input of a new name and clicking of the Enter button on the keyboard, the name specified by you will be assigned to each of all selected elements. At the end of a file name the sequence number of display in this folder will be added.
