When changing an e-mail the user should change email on all websites where it has registration. Sometimes, it is not so simple to graph where it is necessary to enter the updated data to find. Certainly, on a resource of VKontakte you also need to change email.
Instruction
1. To change a mailbox, visit the page of VKontakte. The left mouse button click on the link "My Settings" which is in the menu at the left. After you followed the link, to you advanced settings where you also will be able to specify the new e-mail address will open.
2. Lower the page down or scroll a mouse roller. You will see one of the additional parameters "Change the Main E-mail". You also should work with it.
3. Specify your new e-mail in a line "New e-mail", and then click "Change E-mail". After that the confirmation letter about change of email will come to both of your mails. On it you will be notified by the system of VKontakte after data get on the server.
4. Now you need to come on an old mailbox which you originally used for work with the website, to find the letter from administration of VKontakte and to open it. In the letter it will be told about need of confirmation of desire to replace mail. It is made in order that the malefactor who took control of your password could not take control of your page completely. To confirm change of a mailbox, follow the link specified in the letter.
5. After you followed the link, the system will notify you that the activation code from your former box is accepted, and now it is necessary to wait for the activation code from new email.
6. To confirm the last code, come into your new mail which you specified in settings. There you will also see the letter from administration of VKontakte which you will need to open. For completion of change of a mailbox follow the link specified in the letter again. Now you entered the last necessary code.
7. After you follow the link, the system will tell you that your e-mail was successfully changed. Now you can enter on the website, using new data.
