1. Completely it is possible to replace sound execution of the program, having downloaded a new sound subject, for example, from here: http://www.o-icq.ru/qipsoud. 2. Unpack archive with a new subject in folder C: Program FilesQIP 2012Sounds. If you have other version of QIP, the folder will have the corresponding name. If you cannot find the folder in which the program is installed, right-click on a label on the Desktop and look at a folder path in properties. If on a desktop there is no necessary label, come into the Start menu, select the Programs item, find QIP and the same way look at its properties. If it did not help, use search by "My computer", having entered into it request of QIP.
3. Start QIP. Select the Setup item in the menu, find the Sounds point. In a drop-down menu select the sounds installed by you, click to apply. Perhaps, it will be required to restart the program in order that the new sound subject began to work.
4. For shutdown of a sound of any given event, it is necessary to remove from it a tick. It is possible to configure a sound so that the program reported only about certain events. For example, only about the entering and outgoing message. To disconnect all sounds – remove all ticks.
5. To replace a tune only of one event, without changing at the same time all sound subject, it is necessary to select it and to click "Replace", then select a desirable tune on the computer. Remember that sounds should be in the wav format.
6. Temporarily the Disconnect/unmute button which is in a program window over a contact list will allow to disconnect program sounds. In the clicked status on it there will be a red cross. To unmute, click once again.
