Setup of network interface cards of D-Link consists in installation of the necessary driver and performing the corresponding settings of a system. In Windows the tuning is performed through the section "Control panels". For the setting necessary parameters it is necessary to specify data of your network and to create suitable connection.
Instruction
1. In the modern Windows 7 and 8 systems the majority of models of cards of D-Link can be automatically determined. These systems automatically make installation of the necessary drivers. If it did not occur, it is necessary to download the driver for the network interface card manually or to use a disk which goes complete with a payment.
2. For loading of the driver from the Internet pass to the official site of D-Link in a window of your browser. In a top panel of the appeared page select the section "Products and Solutions" - "Network adapters". On the appeared page in the section "Network adapters" select model of your payment and select the Loadings tab. Select the newest version of the available driver and download it. The downloaded file needs to be started and installed by means of instructions of an installer.
3. For installation of the driver from a disk insert the information medium into the disk drive. After that pass into the Start menu - "Computer". In the left part of the appeared window select "Device manager". In the list of the equipment installed in your computer select the Network adapters item and double-click on the unknown device. Further click "Update the Driver" and follow instructions on the screen.
4. After performing all settings pass into the Start menu - "Control panel" - "Network and the Internet" - "Viewing network condition and tasks". Click on the Change of Parameters of the Adapter point. Right-click on "Connection on a local area network" and select "Properties".
5. Select with a left mouse button a line "The internet protocol of version 4", and then click "Properties". Specify parameters of your network according to the attributes provided by your provider of the Internet in the appeared menu.
6. Having entered all necessary data, click "Ok" and reboot. If all installations were made truly, you will be able to use Internet access via your browser.
