Sometimes to evaluate all advantages of the Internet, it is necessary to use it not only sitting in front of the desktop computer, but also in the neighboring room or, for example, in kitchen and also to use the laptop or the PDA. Everything that for this purpose it is necessary – to create a wireless network of Wi-fi at home.

Instruction
1. To create a wireless network, we need to configure the router on independent connection to the Internet. We connect a communication wire through which we go on-line, in the special connector of the Wi-Fi-router.
2. The cable going in a set is connected by other connector to an entrance of the network interface card installed on the computer motherboard. Thus, at us the scheme of consecutive connection which can roughly be described so turned out: the Internet – the router – the computer.
3. We turn on the computer, we open any installed browser and in a line of the address we enter the router IP address. Most often, it is 192.168.1.1 though there can be also other options. What address at our router and also couple "login password" for access to settings - we learn from the instruction for its operation.
4. Having got on the page of settings, we find the Wireless network tab. The main settings are the mode of network, an authentication method (WPA is most often used) and a key of access of WPA. We set values necessary to us and we enter an access key – it will be the password for connection to our wireless network of other Wi - Fi - of devices. Also we enter an identification line (SSID). It will be displayed as the name of our wireless network at its detection by other devices.
5. We go to the Internet Connection or WAN tab. We enter the login and the password for Internet access and also connection setup: its type (PPTP, L2TP or others) and corresponding IP address. To know these settings of network at Internet service provider better in advance.
6. We confirm all settings, having clicked "OK" or "Apply", and we reboot the router.
For check of operability of a wireless network we try to be connected to it by means of the laptop or the PDA/smartphone. Through search we find our network by the name SSID. At connection of the device will request an access key. We enter the corresponding WPA key. The home wireless network is installed!
