How to define a bot

How to define a bot

One of the factors defining whether the player on the online server will come or not, the number of players which already on it plays is. Quite often owners of servers feign big influx of gamers, starting on the server of bots. It is simple to distinguish them from real players.

Instruction

1. Pay attention to nicknames of players. Key parameters from which it is possible to identify among them bots is not originality, simplicity, similarity in designs and clan. Not originality is an existence of a large number of players with the same nickname which is not the word Player. Players with simple nicknames, such as Conrad, Ivan or Bruce, also with high probability can be bots. Similar nicknames, for example, of FuzzyLogic, HeadShot, are also sign of a bot. Eventually, it is seldom possible to meet players of one clan playing for opposite commands if you see three and more players with identical clan, but players against each other, probability is high that they are bots.

2. Look narrowly at a manner of movement of players who are on the server. Movements of a bot are defined by the programmed waypoint'ami regardless of the complexity level which for it is exposed. The simple bot differs from difficult only in what has more tangled routes therefore if you see that the player constantly sits on base or goes to the same places, you with full confidence can consider that you found a bot.

3. Listen to air. It is seldom possible to meet players who really actively use a text chat or radio commands. The clans playing against each other and those use TeamSpeak'om or Skype especially as at the same time to print and play not really conveniently. Having noticed the player who constantly uses radio commands and prints in a chat, at the same time managing to shoot, know that it can be a bot.

4. A game of the ordinary person differs from a game of a bot in the fact that the person is more inclined to pay attention to such parameters as steps or a possibility of preguessing of appearance of the opponent. In a situation in which the person diligently watches for one point and then kills with one shot of the opponent who appeared from other part of the card – it is minimum. For a bot such behavior is quite normal.
