The history of visit of the websites in the browser – the convenient tool for the user. But sometimes this useful function introduces certain inconveniences. The unimaginable number of links which "pours out" from a drop-down menu of the list complicates search of the necessary points. Also information on visit of the undesirable websites can seriously do much harm to career or family life. Considering what programs for browsing websites exists much, we will consider how to delete an address bar in some of them.
Instruction
1. Mozilla Firefox browser.
Select a tab in the top menu of the Tools browser, then click the line "Erase Recent History …". Check existence of ticks. If they are absent, note the necessary points. Press the Clean Now button.
2. Opera browser.
Click the Tools tab and select "Delete personal data". In the appeared window open a drop-down menu under the name "Detailed Setup" and install a tick opposite to the line "Clean the History of the Visited Pages". Confirm the choice, having clicked "Delete".
3. Internet Explorer browser.
Open a tab "Service" in a top panel of the menu. Pass into the Internet Options point. In the History of Viewing point select the inscription "Delete" and confirm actions with the OK button.
4. Google Chrome browser.
Click an icon in the form of a wrench in the right top part of a window of the browser. Guide at the line "Tools" and select the inscription "Removal of Data on the Viewed Pages". In the appeared Clean the History of Viewings panel, install ticks near the necessary points. In a drop-down menu, at the top of this window, it is possible to select a suitable time span. Having finished setup, confirm the choice.
5. The search string can be hidden in the majority of browsers, and not just is deleted. It is convenient for those users who love minimalism in design. To hide an address bar select a tab of the main View menu, guide at the inscription "Toolbars" and remove a tick from the Address Panel point if you use the Opera program. If you prefer Mozilla Firefox, remove a tick from the Navigation bar point.
6. If you want to remove completely all panels of the browser including an address bar, use F11 key on the keyboard. The same key returns a type of a window of the program in an initial status.
