Instruction
1. At first you need to open your twitter account in a window of any of the browser, convenient for you. Further click a mouse the Settings and Help icon once. In a drop-down menu select a line of "Setup". Before you the page of settings of your account will open.
2. At the left at choice several tabs are given: "Account", "Safety and confidentiality", "Password", "Phone", "Email notifications", "Profile", "Design", "Applications", "Widgets". You are interested in the Account tab. Scroll the page in the bottom and find the inscription "Delete My Account", click it once.
3. In the opened window it is necessary to press the blue button "Delete the Account / Your Nickname/" then it will be offered to you to enter your existing password. After that you receive the message that your account is deleted. Also this message will be duplicated on your e-mail.
4. If you decided not to delete the account, just come into twitter within 30 days after removal – this social network stores data of your account within a month after your delete query. Besides, if you plan to use a nickname for creation of other account in social network Twitter or to register the new account on e-mail specified in this account, then before removal of the unnecessary account change a nickname and/or data of e-mail. Otherwise you will not be able to use them before full removal of the account – for a month after removal.
5. If you want to change a user name or the URL address of your twitter account, it is optional to delete the account and to create new. It is enough to come into the Account tab and to replace them there. After change of the account information the system will demand from you input of the existing password. Change of the existing e-mail will require not only password entry, but also confirmation through e-mail, and a request for confirmation for old e-mail will be sent.
