Instruction
1. For production of a banner use any available graphics editor. It can be both Photoshop, and GIMP, and Picasa, and even Paint. All you need is it is to apply the text on the image and if there is no ready basis under a banner then and to create it.
2. If you have a picture with the background image, open it in the graphics editor, add the text, cut off the picture according to the sizes of future banner. If there is no background, fill in a basis in color necessary to you and put an inscription. Save the ready file in the JPG format.
3. Place the received preparation on a photohosting with an unlimited storage life of files. If the banner is necessary for the website, load the picture on www.radikal.ru, www.photomonster.ru or www.fastpic.ru. If a banner for the blog on Livejournal, you can "fill in" preparation on www.ljplus.ru. It is important not to use for storage of the picture of a banner services from which files of users are removed after the last address to them after a while.
4. After loading of the file and obtaining the link to it, it is possible to start directly placement of a banner on the page of the website. But without special HTML tag it is still simply the picture with the text, and the click according to it will not bring anywhere.
5. Open the control panel of the website or pass into the menu of execution of the blog. Place the cursor in the field for an insert of HTML-codes. In Livejournal it is the section Custom CSS on the page of settings of style of the log. Use for creation of a banner from the available picture the following code:
