Sending range of data on WiFi channel depends on a set of the reasons. In some cases there is a need to transfer data to considerable distances. It is possible to make it in the different ways.

1. Do not increase transmitter power in the WiFi device over 100 MW (0.1 W) at all - such way of increase in range of communication is illegal. Also never use any of the methods described below for connection to networks (even opened) without the permission of their owners. Be connected even to the free networks located in cafe, hotels, etc., being beyond their limits, in the majority of the countries of the world it is forbidden.
2. Remember that communication range between WiFi standard devices is very strongly influenced by any barriers. The conductive barrier is capable to interrupt communication completely, and dielectric - considerably to weaken a signal. If there is an opportunity to carry out shift, push aside excess obstacles from signal path. If communication is conducted between two offices between which some more other offices are located, display both devices in a corridor where between them there will be nothing. At communication between two buildings located the friend opposite to the friend in both from them arrange devices near windows.
3. Sometimes the subscriber equipment of the WiFi standard is built in the laptop or the netbook. In this case disconnect it, and in exchange buy the external device.
