It is required to you

  • - Traffic Inspector program

Instruction

1. Download the last available version of the Traffic Inspector program. Activate the program and carry out its initial setup by means of a setup wizard. Add users to the program. After these actions it is possible to pass to further settings.

2. Define settings of the database. Traffic Inspector can store data in the built-in or external database. In the simplest case the database which is built in by SQLite not requiring a preliminary configuration is used. Settings of the external database are available through the Traffic Inspector node [], point of the External SQL Server... context menu.

3. Define settings of collecting statistics for the user or group. Find the necessary account (the Traffic Inspector node [] / Users and groups). In properties of the account, on the Network Statistics tab determine parameters of data collection and their signing up in base. These settings influence preparation of the report ""Network statistics"". On the Logging tab determine parameters of data collection and their signing up in base for needs of reports ""by traffic"".

4. After users manage to develop statistics and after adding of data in base, you will be able to generate reports. Reports are available through the node of the same name in a console tree. For each report the interval of creation and objects (users, groups, counters) is set for which the report is under construction. In version 3.0.2.903 the following types of reports are available:
• report on traffic,
• report on time,
• report on speed,
• network statistics,
• report on the current connections,
