It is possible to get Internet access in the most different ways. In certain cases at setup of local area networks set the parameters allowing users to others to go computers on-line, using settings of one of computers.
Instruction
1. If you do not want your computer to perform functions of the proxy server for other network users, configure system security prefixes. At first make sure that for your connection with the Internet the general access is closed. Open the Start menu and guide the cursor at the Network Connections point. Choose the Display All Connections command in the opened menu.
2. After opening of the list of active connections find an icon of connection to the Internet. Click it with the right mouse button and select the Properties item. Pass to the Access tab. Remove a tick from the Allow Use of This Connection with the Internet to Other Network Users point.
3. Turn off the Allow Other Net Surfers Management of the General Access function. Click "Apply" and close the menu of settings.
4. Activate standard protection of the Windows operating system. Open the control panel and find the System and Safety menu. Open the Windows Firewall point. Click "Use the Recommended Parameters".
5. After activation of service pass to the Additional Parameters point. Select the Rules for the Entering Connections item. Click "Create the Rule".
6. Select a checkbox near the For Port point. In the left menu select the Protocols and Ports item and activate All Local Ports option. Press Next and select the Block Connection item. Save the rule, having pressed several times Next.
7. Reboot that the operating system applied the set parameters. Check operability of a firewall.
